You probably know that leading a healthy lifestyle will help you live longer, but did you know it could also save you money? And what if we told you you could also make money from it? Here, RDHAP Connect oral health is our priority, but healthy living leads to a healthy mouth! We’d like to give you tips periodicity on how to live your best life!

Stephanie Haywood, My Life Boost presents four ways you can start saving and making money by following your passion for health and fitness.

Grow Your Own Fruits and Veggies

Planting your own fruit and vegetable garden offers wonderful health benefits. By providing you with fresh produce, free of pesticides and harmful chemicals, you’ll be able to cook healthy and flavorful meals your whole family can enjoy for less money than what you’d spend at the grocery store.

Plus, gardening gives your body a complete workout, with all major muscle groups – triceps, forearms, chest, biceps, legs, back, and shoulders – being engaged in different gardening activities. And while you’re out in the sunshine, you’ll also get an extra boost of vitamin D that will improve your bone health and calcium absorption, bolster collagen production, and keep anxiety and depression at bay.

Filling your body with good, nutritious food also means you’ll be less likely to need to spend extra money on medical appointments. Fewer appointments mean fewer copays and expensive treatments. Soft drinks in particular are clearly linked to increased tooth decay. So if you combine a healthier diet with limited (or no) soda consumption combined with regular cleanings from RDHAP Connect, you will be less likely to end up back in the dentist’s chair for a filling or worse!

Choose Food and Beverages with Brain Benefits

The old saying, “you are what you eat” is true! What we put into our bodies plays a big part in how we feel and even how we age. Harvard Health explains that there are plenty of foods that can help with brain development and maintenance, including leafy greens, fish, berries, and walnuts. But did you know that coffee, when consumed in moderation, can also help your brain? Research indicates that the caffeine in coffee and tea can boost concentration and solidify new memories.

But which coffee should you drink and how much? While science is still working on the specifics, you can do your own research to determine how you feel after drinking particular types of coffee and caffeine amounts. Look at different options, like cold brews and blond roasts, too. You may be surprised by the differences in caffeine!

Invest in a Home Gym

If you enjoy exercising but don’t have time or money for a gym membership, or if you’re looking for more privacy for your workouts, consider turning a room of your house into a home gym. Having a home gym allows you to exercise anytime, including while taking a break from your computer if you work from home, or while you’re spending time with your kids.

It may sound expensive to buy your own equipment, but it can be far less expensive than investing in a costly gym membership. But make sure you read reviews and compare features and prices before purchasing your home exercise equipment.

Don’t forget to measure the space you have before ordering a large piece of equipment! If you’re making substantial upgrades to add a home gym, keep receipts for any work completed—certain value-boosting updates can increase the value of your home. If your space is limited, your bedroom or office can do double duty as an exercise studio: get a yoga mat, some free weights, and resistance bands, and get moving!

Opening a Brick and Mortar Store

Your healthy passion can be translated into a lucrative business. If you love yoga or fitness, see if there is a need in your area for a studio offering classes to other health and fitness enthusiasts. Or open a retail store selling sports equipment and partner with local gyms to organize local events, run a charity race, or sponsor local sports teams: all those endeavors will help put the word out about your brand new shop and bring customers in.

When you start your company, make sure to write out a detailed business plan that expands on your funding needs, marketing strategies, financial projections, and business structure. You’ll also want to file paperwork to make your business official. The limited liability company, or LLC, the business structure is very common because it is easy to set up and provides personal asset protection. You can set up the LLC yourself or work with a formation service that will know all of the state-specific requirements for your area.

Starting an Affiliate Marketing Blog

For a lower-stress venture, consider monetizing your healthy lifestyle online and starting an affiliate marketing blog. Find your niche and select a topic you’re particularly interested in or very knowledgeable about, then choose a platform (like WordPress or Blogger), pick a domain name, and design your blog. If you’re not a designer, don’t worry! There are plenty of free templates out there that will make your blog look professional. Once your blog is all setup, it’s time to start writing. Write laser-focused content that will appeal to your target audience.

Reap the Benefits of a Healthier Lifestyle

There are plenty of reasons why you should make changes towards a healthier lifestyle. Beyond home-cooked meals and outdoor exercise, you can turn your healthy choices into more money in your pocket. Find your niche, write a blog, or start your own business and make your mark with your personal brand. Share your passion with others, and make our world a healthier place!
